Summary
RentWise is a public reference site. We do not require an account, we do not collect personally identifying information through forms, and we do not store user-submitted data on our servers.
Data we collect automatically
Like every website, our hosting provider receives standard HTTP request data — IP address, user agent string, requested URL, and referrer — for the purpose of serving the page and detecting abuse. These logs are retained for 30 days and are not used to build user profiles.
Cookies
RentWise itself does not set any cookies. Third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense, when enabled) may set cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising via the Google Ad Settings page or by enabling browser-level Do Not Track.
Outbound links
Some links on this site point to rental brands' booking pages. Clicking those links transfers you to a third-party site governed by that party's own privacy policy. We do not pass any user data with the click.
Children
RentWise is intended for adult travelers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We will post any material change to this policy at the top of this page along with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the new policy.
